The 2025 AGM of Murieston Community Development Trust
will be held at Murieston Village Hall
on Monday 27th January at 7pm.
The agenda will be:
- Welcome
- Apologies
- Chairperson’s report
- Treasurer’s report
- Approval of accounts for 2023-24
- Appointment of independent examiner for next year
- Future plans for Murieston
- Election of trustees for 2025-26
- Any other business
Resolutions to be discussed:
- Receive and adopt the accounts for the 15-month period ending 30 September 2024.
- Confirm the appointment of the Trust’s Independent Examiner for the next year.
- Murieston Community Development Trust should progress plans for community asset transfer of Murieston Village Hall so long as road access can be resolved.
- Murieston Community Development Trust should start fundraising for a future community hub.
- Change the constitution to increase the maximum number of trustees from 12 to 15.
Ordinary members of Murieston Community Development Trust are invited to attend and vote. If you are unable to attend but wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf, please complete a proxy form by midnight on January at: https://murieston-cdt.org.uk/agm-proxy/
Associate and Junior Members are invited to attend and take part in discussions but are not eligible to vote. If you are unable to attend you may delegate a person to attend and represent you in discussions. No prior notice is required.
Members of the public may attend the meeting and take part in discussions but are not eligible to vote.
