We have opportunities to volunteer, either on physical projects or in administrative roles. We are always on the lookout for new projects and ideas too. If you have ideas and suggestions, we would love to hear from you!
If you are a local organisation looking for volunteers, please tell us about it and we will list your volunteering opportunities. We can advertise general volunteering and opportunities on specific dates.
The main volunteering opportunities to try to improve the facilities and environment of Murieston are:
- Become a trustee of the Trust
We need more trustees, particularly with legal, planning or business experience, to help us take community ownership of Murieston Village Hall. Contact us if you are interested. - Murieston Community Café
A Trust project with its own independent Facebook page. Baking on Friday nights, baking and serving on Saturdays. - Murieston Community Cinema
A Trust project with its own independent Facebook page. Monthly screenings with bar on Sunday evenings. - Adopt-a-Station
A Trust project to build and maintain a rockery at Livingston South Station – but you need to register with ScotRail and get a high-viz vest first. Contact us if you are interested. - Murieston Community Garden

Just turn up to a volunteering session with strong shoes and gardening gloves. - Murieston Environmental Group
